Impinj, a pioneering force in RAIN RFID and IoT technology, is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join their Enterprise Solutions team. The position involves serving as the primary technical leader between Impinj and customers/ecosystem partners in Spain. You'll be responsible for providing product training, sales support, design-in execution, and solution support for Impinj's RAIN RFID UHF short-range communication systems. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring both strong engineering capabilities and excellent communication skills.
As a Field Applications Engineer, you'll work closely with the regional sales team to promote Impinj Enterprise products, develop solution strategies, and provide comprehensive technical support to ecosystem partners. The role requires a strong background in RF applications engineering, proficiency in multiple programming languages, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Responsibilities For Field Applications Engineer
- Partner with regional sales team to promote Impinj Enterprise products
- Develop and implement solution strategies for end users using Impinj's RFID platform
- Provide end-to-end technical support to ecosystem partners
- Act as technical domain specialist for regional customer and field sales
- Represent customer requirements to product management and engineering teams
- Build and display technology demonstrations and proof of concepts
- Develop key technical contacts within the Enterprise ecosystem
- Facilitate multi-partner solution development initiatives
Requirements For Field Applications Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in RF applications engineering or related electrical engineering fields
- Broad understanding of hardware, software, and networking technologies
- Proficient in C/C++, C#, Javascript, or Python
- Knowledge of RF principles and troubleshooting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel 25-50%, including international travel
