As a Senior Sales Engineer at Improvado, you will work with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to develop creative solutions for client needs. This fast-paced role requires experience in customer-facing positions and a strong curiosity for technology. You'll play a critical role in deciphering complex application architectures and devising practical solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating technical expertise in sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Communicating with prospects and customers via various channels
  • Identifying the best configuration options for clients
  • Collaborating with Engineering to influence product roadmap
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on Improvado's platform
  • Ensuring successful Proof of Concepts, Trials, and Onboarding

Qualifications:

  • Moderate SQL knowledge
  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS environment
  • 3+ years of Technical Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering / IT Project management experience
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising, ad-tech, and mar-tech space
  • Superior communication and listening skills
  • Knowledge of APIs, Relational Databases, and Cloud Architecture

Responsibilities For Senior Sales Engineer

  • Demonstrate technical expertise in sales presentations, product demonstrations, customer training, technical onboarding, RFPs, and RFIs
  • Help Sales and Customer Success to understand the processes, pains, needs, and wishes of prospects and customers
  • Communicate with prospects and customers via email, chat, or video calls
  • Work closely with prospects and customers to identify the best configuration options
  • Help explain features and releases to clients
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to help influence product roadmap based on market/customer requirements
  • Be a subject matter expert on Improvado's platform and evangelize Improvado's value and features to potential customers
  • Own the discovery and qualification of Improvado's technical compatibility with prospects and provide consultative guidance on technical deal strategy
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure Proof of Concepts, Trial, and Onboarding are successful
  • Act as the voice of the customer by translating, aggregating, and representing customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams
  • Utilize strong business acumen to understand and communicate business requirements and solutions strategies to customers and prospects

Requirements For Senior Sales Engineer

  • Moderate SQL knowledge
  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS environment
  • 3+ years of Technical Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering / IT Project management or software engineering experience
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising, ad-tech, and mar-tech space
  • Experience as a client-facing Sales Engineer
  • Superior communications skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Understanding of principles of working with large amounts of data
  • Knowledge of APIs, Relational Databases, Cloud Architecture
  • Experience with ETL processes and data warehouses
