Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) is seeking an ambitious and kind leader for the role of Manager, Production Engineering in Vancouver. This position involves managing R&D and Core Pipeline Engineers, combining departmental operations, project management, and personnel management. The role requires collaboration with global technology leadership and offers a hybrid work arrangement with 2-3 days onsite.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of experience in computer graphics software engineering or VFX production, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. They should possess comprehensive knowledge of computer graphics, visual effects production, and software engineering processes. The position demands strong leadership skills to drive consensus among technical leaders and guide engineering teams effectively.

As part of The Walt Disney Company's Industrial Light & Magic division, you'll be joining a legendary visual effects facility that has contributed to over 325 feature films and seven of the top 10 worldwide box-office hits.
