Quantum Software Engineer - Error Correction

Infleqtion is seeking a Quantum Software Engineer specializing in Error Correction to join their team. This role is crucial for advancing quantum computing technology through the design and optimization of error-correcting codes (QECs) for experimental quantum devices.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in theoretical physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, with at least 2 years of postdoctoral or industry experience in Quantum Error Correction (QEC). Key responsibilities include developing QEC protocols for gate-based quantum computing devices (focusing on neutral atom platforms), using mathematical models and simulations to analyze QEC performance, and implementing custom QEC decoders.

This position offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of quantum computing, collaborating with experimental physicists and software engineers to bridge theory and practice. The role involves cutting-edge research, publication in scientific journals, and presenting at conferences.
