Infleqtion is seeking a Quantum Software Engineer specializing in Error Correction to join their team. This role is crucial for advancing quantum computing technology through the design and optimization of error-correcting codes (QECs) for experimental quantum devices.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in theoretical physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, with at least 2 years of postdoctoral or industry experience in Quantum Error Correction (QEC). Key responsibilities include developing QEC protocols for gate-based quantum computing devices (focusing on neutral atom platforms), using mathematical models and simulations to analyze QEC performance, and implementing custom QEC decoders.
