Description For RF Quantum Systems Engineer

Reporting to the President, the RF Quantum Systems Engineer will develop and implement processes for successful new product releases. This role, associated with a government contract, requires Australian citizenship and a Defence security clearance. The position combines systems engineering with rigorous product lifecycle execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing standard practices for product and systems engineering
  • Refining the Product Lifecycle (PLC) policy and workflows
  • Contributing to systems engineering standards and modeling tools
  • Implementing best practices in product development projects
  • Providing systems engineering expertise for key projects
  • Creating core systems engineering documents
  • Coordinating system modeling and simulation
  • Working with multi-functional teams on system configuration and documentation

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in engineering, science, physics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering
  • Expertise in RF Systems
  • Experience with productization and Product Life Cycle processes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Adaptability and drive to work at the frontiers of quantum technology
