Reporting to the President, the RF Quantum Systems Engineer will develop and implement processes for successful new product releases. This role, associated with a government contract, requires Australian citizenship and a Defence security clearance. The position combines systems engineering with rigorous product lifecycle execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing standard practices for product and systems engineering
- Refining the Product Lifecycle (PLC) policy and workflows
- Contributing to systems engineering standards and modeling tools
- Implementing best practices in product development projects
- Providing systems engineering expertise for key projects
- Creating core systems engineering documents
- Coordinating system modeling and simulation
- Working with multi-functional teams on system configuration and documentation
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in engineering, science, physics, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering
- Expertise in RF Systems
- Experience with productization and Product Life Cycle processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Adaptability and drive to work at the frontiers of quantum technology
