Description For DevSecOps Engineer

INflow Federal is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join their team in Springfield, VA. This role is critical in designing, deploying, and supporting advanced technologies for the Department of Defense (DoD) networks. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Key responsibilities include designing DevSecOps architecture, managing system configurations, deploying new product features, and ensuring robust, secure infrastructure. Required skills include proficiency with Linux, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Infrastructure as Code. The position requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities For DevSecOps Engineer

  • Design and define DevSecOps architecture for new or existing IT systems
  • Write clean, working code and perform traditional operations tasks
  • Coordinate system development including design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing
  • Manage and document system configurations
  • Assist with deployment of new product features
  • Configure CI/CD for multiple web applications
  • Perform automated testing and security scans
  • Deploy to multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Operations)
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code and configuration management
  • Author helm charts to deploy resources to OpenShift
  • Manage and document system security

Requirements For DevSecOps Engineer

  • 5-8+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or related field
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Proficiency with Linux operating systems
  • Experience with Git
  • Working experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to manage networking for web applications
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and OpenShift
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code
  • Knowledge of containerization, monitoring & logging, and network & security
  • Experience deploying and managing databases
  • Comfortable using Python and BASH
  • Ability to contribute code updates/tweaks
  • Experience with software system design
  • Experience with integrating security components
