Software Engineer

INflow Federal is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team, focusing on engineering cutting-edge solutions and optimizing system performance. The role involves designing, deploying, and supporting advanced technologies for the Department of Defense (DoD) networks. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you'll work through the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with a talented team of on-site engineers to deliver high-quality software applications
• Working with a technical team of 10+ engineers and managing 8+ individuals
• Solving complex problems in a collaborative in-person environment

Required skills:

• US Citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience in Java
• Front-end development experience (React, Leaflet)
• Familiarity with software factories (NGA Core, Platform 1)
• Understanding of complex system deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, Keycloak)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, OpenShift)
• Technical management experience (Scrum Master or IPT Lead)
• Experience in career development and performance management

Preferred skills:

• Proficiency in Spring
• Security+ Certification
• Understanding of REST interfaces and Swagger documentation
• Scripting and common formats (PowerShell, JSON, XML)
• PostgreSQL database design and development
• Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe)
