Software Engineer, Backend

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team! Inkeep helps companies turn their docs into AI search and support copilots. With Inkeep, users get immediate, personalized help while teams focus on answering novel questions. More than 100+ developer-first companies use Inkeep, resolving over 250K+ questions per month. Our customers include Pinecone, Postman, Anthropic, Clerk, Lemon Squeezy, PostHog, Scale, Bun, Resend, Metabase, and many more!

For this role, you will help build and scale our entire backend infrastructure. You will work on areas such as data ingestion pipelines, search engines, and vector databases to build the backbone of Inkeep's best-in-class AI products.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional Python background
• Strong fundamentals in databases: SQL, NoSQL, KV, Vector, Search, etc
• Experience with distributed data pipelines and scheduling systems

The position is immediately available and primarily works in person in New York City, but open to folks in SF.

Today, we answer over 100k+ questions per month for 100+ companies with a focus on technical products.

Our core goal is to help a company's end-users learn to use a new product from scratch, implement their scenarios quickly, and troubleshoot any issues they run into.
