Description For Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer at Innophos plays a crucial role in maximizing plant efficiency by optimizing utilities and minimizing downtime across all production units. This position focuses on identifying and resolving maintenance challenges, implementing advanced maintenance strategies, and driving continuous process improvements to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage plant utilities and prepare monthly utility reports
  • Develop and implement equipment reliability initiatives
  • Assist production to optimize plant productivity and quality
  • Provide technical leadership and advice to production and maintenance personnel
  • Implement improvement projects and investigate equipment failures
  • Review and optimize predictive and preventive maintenance programs

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of engineering experience in chemical or food processing industries
  • Knowledge of industrial maintenance techniques (PM, PDM, CMMS, RCM, TPM)
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and estimate project costs

Responsibilities For Maintenance Engineer

  • Manage Plant utilities and prepare monthly utility report
  • Develop and implement equipment reliability initiatives
  • Assist production to optimize plant productivity and quality
  • Provide technical leadership for employees in implementing long term solutions
  • Review and optimize the predictive and preventive maintenance programs
  • Implement improvement projects
  • Investigate frequent equipment failures and implement long-term solutions
  • Oversee outside contractors as necessary

Requirements For Maintenance Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of engineering experience in chemical or food processing industries
  • Knowledge of industrial maintenance techniques (PM, PDM, CMMS, RCM, TPM)
  • Understanding of good engineering and safety practices
  • Good communication and technical writing skills
  • Ability to manage budget and estimate project costs
  • Strong teamwork skills
