INSTANDA is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join their growing DevOps Engineering team. This role focuses on implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud security across Azure infrastructure, and ensuring robust security practices throughout the development lifecycle. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in the UK, with occasional travel to the London office. The ideal candidate will be passionate about security, experienced in DevSecOps practices, and skilled in working with Azure services and security tools. The role involves collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to build a strong security culture. Responsibilities For DevSecOps Engineer
- Implement security controls within CI/CD pipelines using automation and best practices
- Secure infrastructure by applying security measures to IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Ensure container security for Docker and Kubernetes
- Design and implement security across Azure
- Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications
- Perform threat modelling to identify security risks
- Develop and maintain monitoring systems and respond to security incidents
- Integrate and manage SAST, DAST, and other security testing tools
- Develop and manage Azure policies for compliance
- Provide mentorship and training on secure coding practices
- Integrate Azure Defender and other security tools
Requirements For DevSecOps Engineer
- Passion for Security
- Proven experience in a DevSecOps role or similar
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with Azure services
- Experience with security and compliance scanning tools
- Knowledge of container management with Azure Container Registry
- Experience in SAST, DAST & other techniques
- Proficiency in scripting, preferably with PowerShell
- Understanding of DotNet development and deployment pipelines
- Experience working with PCI DSS standards (desirable)
