Description For Software Engineer

INSTANDA is revolutionizing the insurance industry as the world's first no-code platform for Insurance. With a team of 200+ employees globally, INSTANDA enables insurance carriers to create, manage, and distribute digital insurance products efficiently. The Engineering Department, responsible for the INSTANDA platform, develops and hosts all applications in-house on Microsoft Azure.

As a Software Engineer, you'll join a dynamic team building an industry-changing SaaS platform using cutting-edge technologies. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement based in the UK, with occasional travel to the London office. You'll work under a Dev Lead, contributing to platform development, feature implementation, and quality assurance.

The position requires expertise in C# .NET, ASP .NET MVC, and various web technologies. You'll be part of an agile team where most developers are full-stack, with opportunities to specialize in UI, databases, performance, or security. Requirements For Software Engineer

JavaScript
  • C# .NET experience
  • ASP .NET MVC knowledge
  • LINQ and Entity Framework/LINQ to SQL
  • Web-based languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • SQL Server experience
  • Web APIs, e.g. REST
  • Source control management, e.g. Git/ Azure/ Azure DevOps
  • Unit tests, e.g. XUnit
  • OOP and SOLID principles
  • Proactive self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing deadlines
