The role encompasses three main areas: Infrastructure Security, Application Security, and Security Operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring secure cloud configurations, implementing zero-trust architecture, managing security tooling, and maintaining robust CICD pipeline controls. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in security engineering, strong knowledge of cloud security (particularly AWS), and expertise in DevSecOps practices. Responsibilities For Security Engineer

  • Ensure secure configurations of cloud environments (AWS)
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security practices
  • Design, implement, deploy, and maintain security tooling
  • Oversight and management of CNAPP platforms
  • Manage zerotrust platform(s) and support zerotrust philosophy
  • Use static code analysis and vulnerability scanning tools
  • Manage CICD pipeline controls using Git (Github Actions)
  • Collaborate with developers to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Perform code reviews and provide guidance on secure coding practices
  • Manage third-party dependency packages and container images
  • Build and improve Security Orchestration and Automated Response (SOAR) practices
  • Build security alerting based on Indicators of Compromise (IoC)
  • Participate in investigations and incident response activities

Requirements For Security Engineer
