Responsibilities For Senior Data Engineer
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of end-to-end data analytical solutions using Microsoft on-premises and cloud technologies
- Engage in collaborative requirement elicitation activities with clients
- Mentor and guide junior team members in data engineering
- Deliver innovative analytical solutions to clients and contribute to knowledge transfer
Requirements For Senior Data Engineer
- 4+ years of experience as a data engineer
- Knowledge of Microsoft relational engines (MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics)
- Experience with analytical architectures including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and Data Lakehouses
- Knowledge of NoSQL offerings on Azure (CosmosDB)
- Expertise in SSIS and Azure Data Factory for ETL jobs
- Knowledge of SSAS for OLAP solutions
- Experience with Azure Data Catalog
- Knowledge of Azure governance tools (Purview, Active Directory, Key Vault, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with Azure Stream Analytics
- Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling
- Experience with PowerBI
- Snowflake experience required
