As a Sr Java Developer, you'll work on building a new mobile experience for a major resort and casinos company in South-East Asia. The role involves collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Product teams, focusing on user experience, and maintaining high engineering standards. You'll be responsible for crafting usable, adaptable, reliable, and secure software using lean and agile methodologies. The position requires expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and various other technologies. Responsibilities For Sr Java Developer
- Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and deploy new mobile applications and improvements to existing mobile applications
- Develop new functionalities
- Maintain production systems, perform root cause analysis of issues
- Active participation in the Scrum process
- Ensure good testing coverage of unit and integration testing
- Participate in peer design and code reviews
- Proactively collaborate with teammates
Requirements For Sr Java Developer
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent work or training experience
- Minimum of 5 years working on micro-services / web-based systems
- Experience with modern digital delivery approaches
- Proficiency with Java 17
- Proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks
- Experience with RDS (MySQL)
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes
- Ability to write Unit tests and follow TDD principles
- Strong understanding of design patterns, OOP, development methodologies
- Experience with micro-services architecture and REST
