Description For Data Engineer

Inter&Co is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. As a Data Engineer at Inter&Co, you will be responsible for productizing data solutions to ensure efficient and effective operation of analytical services, using best practices in DataOps, DevOps, and MLOps. You'll build batch/online microservices and data pipelines that ensure cost efficiency and scalability/stability. The role involves proposing intelligent solutions for deploying data products (especially models), high-performance processing, service monitoring, knowledge management, and data product governance for the credit directorate's service platform.

You'll work closely with the Data Science team in developing, building, and analyzing the technical feasibility of stable solutions that deliver rapid/continuous value to stakeholders. Collaboration with the Analytics Engineering team in building and sustaining the Feature Store is crucial, contributing to the functioning of machine learning models consumed by automated credit granting and recovery processes.

Innovation is key in this role. You'll need to stay updated with the main trends in the field, actively contributing new techniques, methodologies, and packages that help advance the data science area. Maintaining constant communication with the business area is essential, ensuring value delivery in the best consumption format while keeping an open channel between project stakeholders.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Productize data solutions for efficient and effective operation of analytical services
  • Build cost-efficient and scalable batch/online microservices and data pipelines
  • Propose intelligent solutions for data product deployment, high-performance processing, and data governance
  • Collaborate with Data Science team on technical feasibility of solutions
  • Work with Analytics Engineering team on Feature Store construction and maintenance
  • Innovate and stay updated with latest trends in data science
  • Maintain constant communication with business area to ensure value delivery

Requirements For Data Engineer

Python
  • Completed higher education in Exact Sciences, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Mastery of programming languages: SQL, Python, Spark, Bash (R is desirable)
  • Proficiency in cloud environment tools (preferably AWS EMR, EKS, Step Functions, Glue, DynamoDB, IAM, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Airflow, Terraform, Docker)
  • Desirable knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, Scikit-learn, and SageMaker
  • Mastery of main Feature Engineering techniques, Machine Learning Modeling, and MLOps best practices
  • Mastery of DevOps best practices (CI/CD, IaC, Design Patterns, Clean Code) and containers
  • AWS certifications are desirable
