Description For Sales Engineer (LATAM)

Intercom, founded in 2011, is revolutionizing online customer service with its AI-first platform. As a Sales Engineer for the LATAM region, you'll lead technical discussions with key prospects, ensuring they maximize Intercom's potential. You'll work closely with the Sales team in pre-sales situations, creating innovative solutions and driving onboarding, user adoption, and overall success. This role requires fluency in Portuguese and English, with 5+ years in the computer industry and 3+ years in Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting for a SaaS organization. You'll demonstrate products, conduct discovery processes, deliver configured presentations, and guide trials and proofs of concept. The ideal candidate will have experience with coding, RESTful APIs, and the ability to think strategically to overcome technical challenges. You'll work collaboratively with global teams and contribute to increasing customer retention and product adoption. Experience with Intercom and Spanish language skills are considered bonuses. Responsibilities For Sales Engineer (LATAM)

  • Lead functional and technical discussions with key prospects
  • Work with sales reps to demonstrate value and drive deals
  • Lead discovery process and uncover business objectives and challenges
  • Deliver configured presentations and demos
  • Guide and complete Trials and Proof of Concepts
  • Coach customers on Intercom usage and best practices
  • Validate technical requirements (Security, SSI, SAML, Integrations, API usage)
  • Lead internal teams on projects and training

Requirements For Sales Engineer (LATAM)

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • 5+ years in the Computer Industry
  • 3+ years of Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting experience in a SaaS organization
  • Experience delivering demonstrations in a sales environment
  • Strategic thinking to overcome technical and security roadblocks
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve challenging issues
  • Experience with coding/scripting in multiple programming languages
  • Experience with data integration, especially RESTful APIs
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with global teams
  • Track record of creating innovative ideas for customer retention and product adoption
