Intuit, a global financial technology leader serving 100 million customers worldwide, is seeking a Director of Software Engineering for their Enterprise Suite (IES) division in Bengaluru, India. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the technical strategy and development of Intuit's mid-market to enterprise solutions.

The position sits within Intuit's India Development Center (IDC), focusing on the Intuit Enterprise Suite - a disruptive cloud solution for growing mid-market businesses. IES offers a configurable suite of integrated financial products designed to seamlessly scale and enhance business productivity, targeting an $89 billion total addressable market.

As Director, you'll be responsible for architecting and delivering high-quality customer-driven software solutions while building for the future. The role requires exceptional technical leadership, combining deep technical expertise with strong business acumen. You'll lead multiple engineering teams, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive platform innovation.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of experience in software product development, with proven success in transitioning monolithic systems to cloud-based architectures. You should have deep expertise in modern technologies including React, Java, JavaScript, and NoSQL databases, along with a strong understanding of big data and machine learning.

  • Co-contribute to business strategy and lead technical strategy for Mid-Market to Enterprise solutions
  • Lead multiple teams in complex domain serving platform/capability needs
  • Partner with multi-disciplinary teams across Product, Design, Partnerships, Marketing, and Customer Support
  • Drive and deliver an open platform fostering contribution within company and external developers
  • Ensure product security, availability, scalability, resilience, and cloud readiness
  • Execute through planning, delegation, decision making, and team accountability

  • Understanding of big data and machine learning technologies
  • Proficiency in React, Java, Javascript, NoSQL
  • Experience in front-end and back-end architecture & design
  • Experience using data insights for product refinement
