As a Machine Learning Engineer 2, you'll be embedded within a dynamic team of data scientists, where you'll play a crucial role in conceiving, coding, and deploying data science models at scale.

Your responsibilities will span the entire machine learning lifecycle - from data discovery and preparation to model development and deployment. You'll work on discovering and preparing data sources, collaborating with data scientists to create and refine features, and building robust pipelines for model training and deployment. The role involves regular A/B testing, statistical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with product managers and engineers.

The position requires expertise in model prototyping, productionalization, and enhancement. You'll be working with cutting-edge data science tools and frameworks, including Python, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Spark. Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer 2

  • Discover data sources, get access to them, import them, clean them up, and make them 'machine learning ready'
  • Work with data scientists to create and refine features from the underlying data and build pipelines to train and deploy models
  • Partner with data scientists to understand, implement, refine and design machine learning algorithms
  • Run regular A/B tests, gather data, perform statistical analysis, draw conclusions on model impact
  • Work cross functionally with product managers, data scientists and product engineers
  • Explore new technology shifts for potential customer benefits

Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer 2

Python
  • BS, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Knowledge of Data Science tools and frameworks (Python, Scikit, NLTK, Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, R, Spark)
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques (classification, regression, and clustering)
  • Experience in model prototyping and evaluation
  • Ability to productionalize prototype models for scale
  • Skills in model enhancement and performance optimization
