Description For Manager 2, Software Engineering (Identity and Access Management)

Intuit, a leading global financial technology platform serving 100 million customers worldwide through products like TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, is seeking a Senior Manager for their growing Workforce Identity and Access Management team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to guide and oversee the development team responsible for core Workforce Authorization capabilities.

The position requires a seasoned technical leader with 8-12 years of software development experience and a strong background in Security or Identity and Access Management. You'll be responsible for evolving Workforce Authorization Services into next-generation cloud technology while developing new capabilities to support Intuit's future business directions.

As a Manager 2, you'll lead a high-performing engineering team, focusing on delivering scalable solutions with engineering and operational excellence. The role combines technical leadership with strategic thinking, requiring you to create an environment where world-class engineers can thrive while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Requirements For Manager 2, Software Engineering (Identity and Access Management)

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years experience as technical leader of software engineering teams
  • 8-12 years of software development and services experience
  • Experience in Cybersecurity and/or Identity and Access Management
  • Experience with cloud computing in AWS, web services, and CI/CD
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Agile software development
