Manager 3, Software Engineering

Intuit is seeking a Manager 3, Software Engineering to join the Intuit Data Exchange (IDX) team. This role is for creative problem solvers with a passion for innovation who want to revolutionize the way the world does business.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with different Intuit Product and functional teams to understand needs and expectations for the Identity Platform
• Build high-performing teams to execute on platform roadmaps and ensure adoption
• Make engineering decisions in consensus with architects to scale the Identity platform
• Manage projects, balancing long-term and short-term goals, customer adoption, and technical debt
• Lead and be accountable for employee engagement within the team and project
• Create shared vision and build strong cross-functional relationships

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience leading software engineering teams that have delivered customer-driven products
• 5+ years experience leading high-availability Java-based platforms/services
• 6+ years of programming/designing experience in Java
• Proven track record of leading positive change and fostering effective engineering teams
• Strong business acumen and ability to articulate product vision
• 8-12 years of hands-on software development experience with large-scale, resilient systems
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SaaS/mobile technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• BS in Computer Science / MIS or equivalent work experience
