Join Intuit's Identity Lifecycle Management team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you'll be part of building the next-generation identity lifecycle platform. This role is within Intuit's Identity & Customer360 Org, focusing on creating a modern microservice-based, scalable platform serving all of Intuit's business units.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining large-scale, consumer-facing applications. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in Java/Kotlin, microservices architecture, and modern web technologies. You'll spend 70-85% of your time coding while also mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical decisions.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of software development experience, strong expertise in Java/J2EE or Kotlin, and experience with modern web services and NoSQL databases. You'll work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams across Intuit's ecosystem.

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer
- Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
- Designing/developing web, software, mobile apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts
- Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers and new team members
- 70-85% hands-on coding
- Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
- Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams
- Contribute to the design and architecture of the project
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer
- 6+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Kotlin
- Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- 3+ years experience with web services (REST or GraphQL)
- Solid communication skills
- Strong understanding of Software design/architecture process
- Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with NoSQL database technologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools
