Senior Software Engineer

Intuit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Analytics, AI, & Data (A2D) Data Definition teams. The role involves working on the Data Definition team, which is responsible for authentication, authorization, registration, and orchestration of Data Products. The ideal candidate will have experience in building highly maintainable and scalable capabilities across both backend and front-end engineering to enable platform experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering complex features across data platforms
• Working within established architecture through technical solution design and delivery
• Driving results across a subset of a 1-4 engineer scrum team
• Designing components independently with minimal guidance
• Incorporating best practices for observability, FMEA, and metrics
• Writing maintainable and scalable code
• Handling on-call responsibilities and providing support for internal customers

The role requires a strong educational background in Computer Science or related field, with 4+ years of experience in developing, deploying, and operating services. The candidate should have expertise in cloud-native technologies, high-scale service operations, and object-oriented programming languages like Java. Experience in modern web technologies and building extensible UI platforms is also crucial.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $149,500-202,000 for Southern California, along with eligibility for cash bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits.
