Senior Software Engineer- SRE

Intuit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer- SRE to join their FinTech Platform team. As a trusted financial expert, Intuit Fintech empowers financial prosperity for businesses and consumers through a convenient, powerful, AI-native fintech platform providing fast and easy access to funds at the time of need. The role involves handling millions of transactions daily across various payment methods, with billions of dollars moving through their systems annually.

Responsibilities include:

• Being the first level of support for incidents, production issues, and alerts
• Designing and building tools focused on observability and ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of production systems
• Maintaining high standards for engineering design, implementation, and testing
• Scoping effort, identifying risks, and communicating trade-offs
• Investigating production issues and providing insights to core teams
• Resolving complex technical problems and sharing key learnings
• Staying aware of industry trends and making strategic technology decisions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, reliability, or engineering excellence in Fintech with large-scale payment systems
• Expertise in Automation, Monitoring tools, or Cloud Operations
• Strong backend or full stack coding skills (Java/J2EE, Go, Python, REST, SOAP, JSON)
• Solid AWS experience
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes, SCRUM, and Agile Development
• Experience with Amazon Web Services for building scalable applications
• High adaptability, flexibility, and ability to work well under pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for highly reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure systems
