Description For Staff Software Engineer- Kotlin

Intuit, a global financial technology leader serving 100 million customers worldwide, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Kotlin to join their DevX team. This role focuses on developing cloud-scale tools and capabilities that impact millions of customers globally, managing Petabytes of data and billions of transactions.

The position involves shaping the developer experience for Intuit's AI-native Modern SaaS platform, working with foundational elements that power applications like TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating large-scale distributed processing systems and ensuring high availability in real-time processing environments.

As part of the DevX team, you'll be responsible for building foundational capabilities used by developers across Intuit for creating and managing flagship applications in a cloud-native, secure, and highly scalable environment.   • Manage multiple customers and resolve issues without friction
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
  • Mentor fellow engineers and lead a small team
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across US and India time zones

Requirements For Staff Software Engineer- Kotlin

  • 10+ years of experience working in enterprise hosting complex systems
  • Experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages
  • 8+ years experience with backend integration, web services & APIs
  • Experience with Spring Boot based web services in AWS/Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of container systems and orchestration
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and application monitoring
  • Strong Linux/unix background and Advanced bash scripting knowledge
  • Experience with metrics, monitoring and alerting tools
  • Experience working in cross-region setup
