Intuition Machines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Automation Engineer with Python to join their team in building enterprise security products with an AI/ML focus. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work on systems that serve hundreds of millions of people, with a team distributed around the world.
As a Security Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust security software solutions for their SaaS security platform, with a focus on bot detection and fraud mitigation. Your primary duties will include crafting secure code, identifying and mitigating potential security risks, and integrating cutting-edge security tools and techniques into their products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining SOC security automation capabilities
- Conducting research on software tools used by threat actors
- Interacting with external security researchers in bug bounty programs
- Managing components of the vulnerability management program
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of threat intelligence
- Collaborating with security analysts on investigations
- Managing technical aspects of internal security tooling integration
- Identifying new standards and technologies impacting security products
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of full-time development experience across the stack
- Experience integrating security into various aspects of software development
- Understanding of web security paradigms, including OWASP
- Proficiency in API test automation and standardization
- Experience with bug bounty programs and public CVEs/research (preferred)
- Exposure to modern web browser security and web architecture
- Experience with red-teaming (preferred)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in English
