Responsibilities For Program Engineer
- Serve on Cargo Program Team for helicopter development, integration, qualification, production, modification, fielding, and sustainment
- Support program acquisition strategies, cost and schedule estimates, and risk assessments
- Obtain, assess, apply, and verify product airworthiness requirements
- Manage CDRLs workflow, review, and tracking
- Ensure program follows systems engineering processes
- Ensure aircraft products are Army airworthiness certified
- Collaborate with Material Developer personnel
- Manage contractor and supplier contract performance
Requirements For Program Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school (preferred)
- Active and transferrable DoD Secret level security clearance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of Cargo helicopters and their systems, subsystems and components
- Willing to travel up to 30%
- Ability to occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds
