Isar Aerospace is seeking an Avionics, Guidance, Navigation and Control (AGNC) Engineer to join their team. As part of the AGNC team, you will move horizontally across design teams, focusing on the instrumentation of Spectrum. Your responsibilities will include selecting and qualifying vehicle sensors, maintaining interfaces across departments, and working with all design teams to integrate sensor components, define operative procedures, and test equipment for flight hardware and prototypes.

Key responsibilities:
- Be the focal point for sensor systems on the vehicle
- Establish design and operative standards for flight instrumentation
- Perform hands-on assembly and testing of equipment
- Support design teams in sensor selection and qualification
- Define operative procedures for manufacturing and testing teams
- Perform qualitative and quantitative checks on vehicle sensors
- Improve existing instrumentation and propose alternatives
- Maintain the flight sensor list and ensure all interfaces are up to date
- Select appropriate connectors for chosen sensors
- Perform functional and environmental qualification of selected sensors
- Estimate and calculate errors in measurement chains
- Assist with integrating flight sensors into the Flight Test Instrumentation system

Required qualifications:
- BSc/MSc in Electrical/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Messtechniker, or similar
- Knowledge of aerospace industry sensors
- Extensive experience with mechanical and thermal system characterization
- Strong hands-on experience with sensor system assembly and calibration
- Experience in data acquisition systems or test rigs
- Understanding of sensor calibration techniques
- Knowledge of common communication protocols
- Basic knowledge of Python, C++, or similar
- Fluent in English
