As part of the Avionics, Guidance, Navigation and Control (AGNC) team, you'll play a crucial role in instrumenting Spectrum, their launch vehicle. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple design teams, focusing on sensor selection, qualification, and integration.

The role combines hands-on technical work with cross-functional collaboration, requiring expertise in aerospace sensor systems and data acquisition. You'll be responsible for establishing standards, performing testing, and ensuring proper integration of sensor systems throughout the vehicle. Responsibilities For Avionics, Guidance, Navigation and Control (AGNC) Engineer

  • Be the focal point for sensor systems on the vehicle
  • Establish design and operative standards for flight instrumentation
  • Perform hands-on assembly and testing of equipment
  • Support teams in sensor selection and qualification
  • Define operative procedures for assembly, calibration, and data evaluation
  • Maintain and update flight sensor list
  • Perform functional and environmental qualification of sensors
  • Calculate measurement chain errors
  • Assist with Flight Test Instrumentation system integration

Requirements For Avionics, Guidance, Navigation and Control (AGNC) Engineer

Python
  • BSc/MSc in Electrical/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry sensors
  • Experience with mechanical and thermal system characterization
  • Experience with pressure transducers
  • Hands-on experience with sensor system assembly and calibration
  • Experience with data acquisition systems
  • Understanding of calibration techniques
  • Knowledge of communication protocols
  • Basic knowledge in Python, C++, or similar
  • Fluent in English
