As a Data Scientist at ITE Management, you'll be integral to driving data-driven decision-making across investment strategies, portfolio management, and risk platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals, including business intelligence analysts, data engineers, and various stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will span from conducting in-depth data analysis to developing advanced ML/AI models for investment decisions and operational improvements. You'll be involved in risk analysis, ML Ops, and product management, working directly with portfolio companies to identify and solve complex problems.

The ideal candidate should have 3-7 years of data science experience, strong programming skills in Python and SQL, and extensive knowledge of machine learning libraries. A bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Experience with cloud platforms and Monte Carlo simulation would be valuable assets.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $135,000-$215,000, plus discretionary incentive compensation. Responsibilities For Data Scientist

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of internal or portfolio company data
  • Develop and apply advanced statistical, machine learning and artificial intelligence models
  • Work with risk team to develop and apply data-driven risk models
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines
  • Work with vertical teams and portfolio company users to identify issues
  • Enable clear communication and broad understanding of models
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in data science and ML

Requirements For Data Scientist

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant STEM field (Master's preferred)
  • 3-7 years of experience in a data science role
  • Strong theoretical background in optimization, statistics, and ML/AI models
  • Strong programming skills in Python (or R or Julia) and SQL
  • Experience with standard machine learning libraries
  • Working knowledge bringing models to production
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ELT processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with cloud-based BI and data analytics platforms
