JASARA PMC is seeking a Cost Engineer / Estimator to join their team in Saudi Arabia, playing a crucial role in supporting innovative projects under Vision 2030. The ideal candidate will bring 7 years of experience in cost estimation or cost engineering within the construction industry, along with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. You'll be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates across all project phases, from conceptual design to construction, while working closely with project management teams to develop and oversee project budgets.
In this role, you'll conduct cost analysis, provide financial insights to stakeholders, and work with interdisciplinary teams to identify cost-reduction opportunities. Your expertise in cost estimation software, combined with deep understanding of construction processes and strong analytical skills, will be crucial for success. The position requires excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with Arabic knowledge being advantageous.

Responsibilities For Cost Engineer / Estimator
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for all project phases, including conceptual, schematic design, detailed design, and construction
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to assess costs and project deliverables
- Conduct cost forecasting and prepare monthly reports on project costs, variances, and trends
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve efficiency
- Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to support competitive bidding processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, and local regulations
Requirements For Cost Engineer / Estimator
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost estimation or cost engineering within the construction industry
- Proficient in cost estimation software and tools
- Deep understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and materials
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
