Responsibilities For HSE Engineer
- Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Provide training and support to employees regarding health, safety, and environmental practices
- Maintain accurate records of health and safety data, including incident reports and safety assessments
- Stay current with changes in health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices
Requirements For HSE Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental roles, preferably in construction or project management
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are highly desirable
