Interior Design Engineer

JASARA PMC is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Interior Design Engineer to join their talented team. The role involves developing and implementing design concepts for interior spaces across various projects. Key responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines
2. Creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable interior environments
3. Developing detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation
4. Coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure flawless execution of design intent
5. Evaluating materials and finishes for various projects
6. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related engineering field
• 5+ years of experience in interior design or interior design engineering
• Strong proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
• Solid understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Keen knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Experience with sustainability and green building practices is a plus
