The company serves critical connectivity needs across various sectors including mobile carriers, stadiums, universities, healthcare centers, transit hubs, and the U.S. Military.

The DAS Support Engineer role is a vital position within JMA Wireless, focusing on providing both remote technical and field support for JMA DAS systems. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and customer service skills, as you'll be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues escalated from various stakeholders including customers, sales teams, product management, and Level 3 support.

The ideal candidate will possess strong RF experience, particularly in DAS commissioning and troubleshooting. You'll need proficiency with specialized equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, PIM test sets, and Anritsu Site Master for sweep testing. The position demands excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing customer tickets and following internal procedures.

Responsibilities For DAS Support Engineer

  • Onsite and remote trouble shooting for all JMA customers
  • Supports team efforts (Engineering, Quality, Customer Support, Sales)
  • 50% travel requirements
  • Pre and post-install commissioning and optimization as required
  • Perform CW/RF path lost testing to validate system designs on customer premises

Requirements For DAS Support Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Science and/or equivalent 4 years' experience
  • Minimum 4 years of RF experience with DAS commissioning and troubleshooting support
  • Experience with iBwave, JDSU or similar
  • Proficient using test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, PIM and Sweep testing
  • Capable of trouble shooting complex in-building Das and Passive DAS issues
  • Expertise with all aspects of telecom transmission facilities, infrastructure
  • Excellent communication/listening skills
  • Experience with a customer-based ticketing system
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
