As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Antenna and RF, you'll play a vital role in designing and developing wireless/RF connection products that shape the future of 5G technology.

In this role, you'll lead design initiatives, optimize costs for high-volume production, and work with cross-functional teams from concept to production. You'll utilize advanced tools like SolidWorks, ANSYS, and IcePak for product development and analysis. The position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering with RF expertise, combining technical skills with creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer - Antenna and RF

  • Leading design, development, and enhancement efforts for Wireless/RF Connection products
  • Achieve cost reduction targets on high-volume Wireless/RF products
  • Work with new product development teams from conception through production
  • Product development using SolidWorks software
  • Design plastic and metal mechanical components, assemblies, and electro-mechanical packaging
  • Perform structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS and IcePak simulation tools
  • Participate in product design reviews
  • Prototyping/modeling design
  • Create mechanical engineering design specifications
  • Testing mechanical and electrical properties for quality and reliability

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer - Antenna and RF

  • BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, RF Engineering or related engineering field
  • 4-7 years of engineering/design experience
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes including PCB fabrication, sheet metal forming, CNC machining, plastic injection molding
  • Experience with plastic and aluminum extrusion processes, die casting and electronic assembly
  • Experience designing products for high-volume manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Creative with superior organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
