Responsibilities For Commissioning Engineer
- Develop and execute project commissioning plans
- Conduct site inspections and lead interface between site team and commissioning team
- Participate in pre-commissioning meetings and oversee commissioning activities
- Review commissioning trackers for pre-energization activities
- Lead site walks and manage project documentation
- Coordinate craft and equipment support
- Ensure safety protocols compliance including LOTO
- Review design documents and drawings
- Conduct documentation audits
- Train project personnel for field verification
Requirements For Commissioning Engineer
- 4+ years of commissioning experience in utility-scale solar projects
- Strong understanding of OSHA workplace safety practices
- Experience with racking and tracker commissioning
- Expertise in inverter commissioning, SCADA/DAS systems
- Knowledge of MV transformers and BOS components
- Ability to interpret construction and electrical drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Valid driver's license
- Preferred certifications: OSHA 30/100, NABCEP PV Associate, NFPA 70e
