As an Outside Sales Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in driving business growth and building strong relationships with customers, contractors, and engineering firms.

The role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, requiring you to leverage your HVAC product knowledge to identify new business opportunities and manage complex sales processes. You'll be responsible for providing technical guidance on system design, preparing detailed proposals, and managing projects from design through commissioning.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) or equivalent industry experience, along with 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales or design. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and proven ability in project management.

The company offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $70,000 to $135,000 CAD with a 40% GP commission structure. Responsibilities For Outside Sales Engineer

  • Identify and develop opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Drive annual sales growth in the Northwest
  • Build relationships with contractors, engineering firms, and end-users
  • Provide technical expertise on system design and product selection
  • Prepare detailed sales proposals and estimates
  • Manage projects from design phase through commissioning
  • Process and analyze feasibility assessments
  • Act as liaison between branch office staff and customers
  • Maintain high standards of customer support

Requirements For Outside Sales Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of direct selling, marketing, or designing HVAC products
