JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Data & Analytics Solutions Engineer Senior Associate to join their Investment Portfolio and Asset Liability Management group. This role is part of the Data and Analytical Solutions team, which manages the firm's interest rate risk management framework and industry-leading research on deposits and money flow.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with modern software engineering practices and build cloud-native analytics platforms. You'll be responsible for designing and developing analytical tools for valuation of rates products, working closely with Portfolio Managers and Strategists to gather requirements and deliver end-products.
As a member of this team, you'll contribute to the entire analytical model lifecycle, from initial design to final delivery. The role combines technical expertise in data engineering, Python development, and API creation with business domain knowledge in finance and banking. You'll also have the opportunity to apply modern data science techniques to various business initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of industry experience, strong programming skills (particularly in Python), and knowledge of cloud architecture. Experience with front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus. You should have a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science, along with exposure to accounting standards and fixed income products.
