Description For Legal Entity Qualitative Risk Appetite Control Manager

As the Qualitative Risk Appetite Support, you'll be a key member of the EMEA Qualitative Risk Appetite Support Team, which is part of the EMEA Regional Control Management. Our team leads the coordination, execution, and strategic development of the Qualitative Risk Appetite (QRA) framework across the region. You will play a critical role in performing complex data and business analysis to support the quarterly creation of the Legal Entity QRA, while also partnering closely with Location Control Managers (LCMs) in EMEA to perform risk assessments.

You'll be working in the Commercial & Investment Bank division, which is a global leader across banking, markets, securities services and payments. The role involves coordinating and executing the Qualitative Risk Appetite framework, performing complex data analysis, and partnering with various stakeholders to ensure effective risk management.

The position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a global financial institution, where you'll be responsible for analyzing trends, preparing risk appetite reports, and contributing to the strategic development of risk management frameworks. You'll need strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for process improvement.

Responsibilities For Legal Entity Qualitative Risk Appetite Control Manager

  • Collate required data from a variety of sources
  • Execution of the data analysis and identification of trends quarter on quarter
  • Supporting the Qualitative Risk Appetite (QRA) support team lead with strategic development
  • Composition of the draft Qualitative Risk Appetite report
  • Establish strong relationships with data source providers
  • Partner with team members and location control managers for timely completion of data analysis
