Description For Portfolio Manager - Associate - Luxembourg

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management is seeking a Portfolio Manager - Associate in Luxembourg to join their Portfolio Management Group (PMG). This role is crucial in managing JPMorgan's Private Bank Clients' Core multi-asset portfolios and providing support to team leaders alongside portfolio management responsibilities.

The Portfolio Management Group is the implementation engine for the Private Bank's discretionary investment business, responsible for ensuring portfolios are managed according to client investment parameters. You'll be part of a global team with presence in over 7 locations including London, Geneva, HK and NY.

As a Portfolio Manager - Associate, you will implement the bank's various CIO teams' views to ensure consistent investment thinking across client accounts. You'll develop expertise in various investment solutions including mutual funds, ETFs, structured notes, hedge funds, and separately managed accounts. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.

Key responsibilities include providing data analytics, participating in business reviews, preparing marketing materials, and monitoring accounts for model drift and strategy deviation. You'll also be responsible for maintaining effective controls and communicating trading activity to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, strong Python skills, and a passion for financial markets. Experience in financial markets is preferred, and CFA certification is a plus.   • Provide data analytics on all business related development
  • Actively participate in business review discussion
  • Preparation of marketing material
  • Support the team in all aspects of the day-to-day
  • Implement of the Bank's various CIO teams' views
  • Monitor accounts for model drift and strategy deviation
  • Monitor investment vehicle selection and resulting exposures
  • Monitoring cash and security activity in client accounts
  • Communicate PMG trading activity and initiatives
  • Maintain effective controls within the governance structure

Requirements For Portfolio Manager - Associate - Luxembourg

Python
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree of 2:1 (or equivalent)
  • Experience using Microsoft office programs including excel, power point plus working knowledge of Python
  • Detail orientated and process focused
  • Hard working, ability to operate in a fast-moving and demanding environment
  • Work effectively as part of a global team
  • Strong communications skills
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • CFA (preferred)
