AI/ML Security - Security Engineer

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Security Engineer II within their Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization. As a valued member of an agile team, you'll be responsible for delivering secure software solutions that prevent misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. The role involves executing basic software solutions through design, development, and troubleshooting of multiple components within technical areas, while gaining skills and experience to grow.

The position is part of the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group, which aligns the firm's cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. This group works proactively and strategically with all lines of business to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls, deliver processes efficiently, and drive automation.

As a Security Engineer II, you'll be working on:

• Developing and implementing creative security solutions
• Writing and reviewing secure, high-quality production code
• Minimizing security vulnerabilities through industry best practices
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and address security needs
• Contributing to the engineering community and promoting best practices

The ideal candidate should have:

• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Java (required), with knowledge of C/C++ and Python
• Experience in AI/ML domain and security engineering
• Understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure as code
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
