Responsibilities For Lead Infrastructure Developer - Ansible
- Develop Ansible playbooks for the initial build of base config, as well as vendor code upgrades of network infrastructure including Cisco routers and F5 load balancers
- Utilize technical expertise and problem-solving skills to facilitate and accelerate the adoption of strategic technical programs
- Lead projects or work streams focused on infrastructure engineering practices, including automation, capacity planning, resiliency, performance optimization, and security enhancements
- Collaborate with internal service providers to develop solutions that reduce manual effort and support modern technology stacks
- Develop innovative solutions for the design, development, and troubleshooting of moderately complex technical issues
- Provide guidance on TLM migration strategies with the aim of mitigating impact on upstream and downstream data & systems
Requirements For Lead Infrastructure Developer - Ansible
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Extensive expertise in infrastructure engineering (hardware, networking, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience)
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technology and proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Ansible)
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies
- Proficient in multiple network technologies such as Cisco, F5
- Knowledge of API integrations and RESTful services
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
