As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Public Cloud Enablement & Adoption team, you will play a crucial leadership role focusing on Azure cloud infrastructure. This position combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring deep knowledge of site reliability engineering practices and cloud technologies.
The role involves leading resiliency design reviews, managing complex technical challenges, and serving as a technical lead for medium to large-sized products. You'll be working within the Corporate Technology team, which supports all corporate functions across the global network, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, and other critical departments.
Key responsibilities include championing site reliability culture, leading initiatives to improve system reliability using data-driven analytics, and acting as the primary point of contact during major incidents. You'll need to demonstrate expertise in reliability, scalability, performance, and security, with particular emphasis on Azure cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong proficiency in cloud platforms (especially Azure and AWS), and expertise in container orchestration, CI/CD, and observability tools. Experience with OpenAI/LLMs and multi-cloud environments is a plus.
