Lead Software Engineer - Fullstack Java, React, AWS

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking – ATM Channel Product team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

This role focuses on being a core technical contributor responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions. The position requires experience as a full stack developer/architect with expertise in React and Java, along with strong AWS knowledge. While this is not a people or task management role, the successful candidate will be expected to be hands-on and guide the team in building technology solutions (70% Design & 30% Coding).

The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and frameworks including React, Java, AWS, Kubernetes, and various other modern development tools. You'll be part of the Consumer & Community Banking division which serves Chase customers through various financial services including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, and auto financing.

Key technical responsibilities include developing secure high-quality production code, conducting code reviews, and implementing creative software solutions. You'll also lead technical evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams, while contributing to the broader software engineering community within JPMorgan Chase.
