Lead Software Engineer - Java - Markets Technology - Athens

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Equities Trading Technology Organization, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Based in Athens, you'll work closely with the London Business and Global partners to develop solutions that help the bank provide strategic advice, raise capital, manage risk, and extend liquidity in markets spanning over 100 countries.

You'll be responsible for executing creative software solutions, leading technical evaluations, mentoring team members, and driving innovation in software engineering practices. The role offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with diverse teams including Trading, Sales, and Quantitative Research.

The position is part of our new Innovation Lab in Athens, Greece, supporting our organic growth and bolstering innovation efforts in Payments and Markets business globally. J.P. Morgan has a five-decade presence in Greece, providing Investment Banking, Payments, and Asset & Wealth Management services.
