As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, Chase UK, you will be joining our Cloud Platform Engineering tribe, which is at the heart of a cutting-edge cloud-native AWS infrastructure that powers the Chase UK bank that is trusted by over 2 million customers. You will be exposed to a wide spectrum of technologies such as Kubernetes clusters, connectivity, databases, kafka clusters, as well as numerous opportunities to create automations to eliminate toil and improve developer experience.
The role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure management, particularly with AWS and Terraform. You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the bank's cloud infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 operations with a focus on stability, performance, security, and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing connectivity solutions, creating automation scripts, and supporting application developers with their SDLC needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CDN providers, network protocols, reverse proxies, and Kubernetes operations. You should be proficient in modern programming languages like Python or Go, and have excellent DevOps knowledge. The role involves both technical leadership and collaboration with various stakeholders to drive infrastructure improvements.
