Lead Software Engineer - Python / DevOps - Markets Technology - Athens

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Equities Trading Technology Organization. As a seasoned member of an agile team, you'll design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. The role is based in Athens and involves working closely with the London Business and Global partners.

You'll be responsible for executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting across multiple technical areas. The position requires expertise in Python/DevOps, with a focus on automation, system optimization, and production environment management. You'll work on building automated frameworks, ensuring system observability, and maintaining high performance in low-latency environments.

The role is part of our new Innovation Lab in Athens, Greece, supporting our organic growth and innovation efforts in Payments and Markets business globally. J.P. Morgan has a 50+ year presence in Greece, providing Investment Banking, Payments, and Asset & Wealth Management services.

Key technical requirements include proficiency in Python/C++, experience with CI/CD, cloud technologies, and Linux environments. Knowledge of Equities Electronic Trading and experience with low latency environments is preferred.
