The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firm's data and analytics journey. This role offers a unique opportunity to explore novel and complex challenges that could profoundly transform how the bank operates.

As a Machine Learning Scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), you will:

Apply sophisticated machine learning methods to complex tasks including NLP, speech analytics, time series, and recommendation systems
Collaborate with various teams in a highly collaborative environment
Research and explore new machine learning methods through independent study and industry conferences
Develop state-of-the-art models for real-world problems
Drive firm-wide initiatives by developing large-scale frameworks

Required Qualifications:

PhD in quantitative discipline or MS with 3+ years experience
Solid background in NLP/speech recognition
Extensive experience with ML/DL toolkits
Strong experimental design skills
Experience with big data and scalable model training
Excellent communication skills
