Responsibilities For Manager of Software Engineering - Oracle/Data
- Manages and provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
- Builds and support Data model development including metadata and data dictionary documentation
- Builds Data Warehousing assets, data pipelines and reporting solutions on Cloud stack
- Partners with project managers, agility leads & product owners on estimates, statuses & impediments
- Partners with architecture team to ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Lead the design and development efforts of the team and create standards and best practices
- Proactively identify major issues, risks, dependencies and manage them
Requirements For Manager of Software Engineering - Oracle/Data
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on Oracle experience while leading and mentoring team
- Proficient in PL SQL development and debugging
- Experience with Data Modelling and performance optimization
- Advanced understanding of Agile Methodologies
- Expertise in collaborating and designing solutions
- Experience in setting standards and define templates
