Product Security Software Engineer - Greenfield Project

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity Technology Controls Organization, you will be a key member of our team. Your role will involve delivering software solutions that meet functional and user requirements, with a focus on preventing misuse and malicious behavior. You will implement critical technology solutions across various business functions, using tamper-proof, audit defensible methods.

Initially, successful candidates for the role will be seconded to a FinTech software partner. This is an exciting opportunity to experience the day to day of a fintech while being fully backed by JPMC. After the conclusion of the secondment, all secondees will return to JPMC and apply the knowledge, technologies and practices acquired and develop the critical services to support GBP's worldwide journey to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Create secure and high-quality production code
• Apply specialized tools to analyze security threats and vulnerabilities
• Lead continuity-related awareness and training activities

Required Skills:

• Software engineering experience with Go, Python or Java
• Security engineering solutions experience
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD and application security

Preferred Skills:

• Banking/finance knowledge
• Cloud provider experience
• Microservice architectures experience
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, and Terraform
