Product Security - Software Engineer III - Greenfield Project

As a Software Engineer III - Product Security at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity Technology Controls Organization, you will be a key member of our team focused on delivering secure software solutions. We are building the next generation core banking platform that will operate at a global scale and support hundreds of millions of accounts.

You will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions with tamper-proof, audit defensible methods across multiple technical areas. The role involves developing micro-services, integrations, dashboards, production support tools and CI/CD pipelines using cloud native technologies.

Initially, successful candidates will be seconded to a FinTech software partner - an exciting opportunity to experience the fintech environment while being fully backed by JPMC. After the secondment, you'll return to JPMC to apply the acquired knowledge in developing critical services supporting GBP's worldwide cloud journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing security solutions design and development
• Creating secure, high-quality production code
• Analyzing security vulnerabilities using specialized tools
• Leading continuity-related training and awareness activities

Required skills:

• Software engineering expertise with security focus
• Proficiency in Go, Python or Java
• Strong SDLC knowledge
• Understanding of CI/CD and security practices

Preferred qualifications:

• Banking/finance knowledge
• Cloud provider experience
• Microservices architecture expertise
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, and infrastructure as code
